The Olde Gahanna Community Partnership particpates in many festivals and events throughout the year. We're also constantly thinking of new and exciting ideas to bring to our community.
Paws in the Plaza was started by the OGCP in 2009 to introduce the unique attributes of the new Creekside Development to people all around the central Ohio area. The park and trails, right next to the urban development, make it a perfect destination for people with four-legged friends. We know that once people discover the area, they'll be back often. Paws in the Plaza continues to grow into one of the most popular attractions in Olde Gahanna.
The Creekside Farmers Market was started in 2008 at the new Creekside Development. In 2010 it grew to include homemade crafts and items in addtions to local produce and foods.
The Festival of Trees is and OGCP fundraiser held during the Holiday Lights Parade and Festival. It's a festive way for the OGCP to involve businesses and residents in the festival and add to visitors' experience to Creekside.
Many events such as the Creekside Blues and Jazz Festival, and the Holiday Lights! Parade and Festival were originally started years ago as community events by the OGCP until they grew to be taken over by other organizations. We work closely with the Gahanna Convention and Visitors' Bureau, the City of Gahanna Department of Parks and Recreation, and other local organziations so that our members are aware of upcoming events, details, and opportunities.
