March 29, 2008 Gahanna 1908 Day
Join the Gahanna Parks and Recreation Department and the Gahanna Historical Society in discovering what life was like 100 years ago! Enjoy demonstrations, participate in activities, sample foods from yesteryear and reconnect with the child inside with nostalgic toys and more!
This year we are adding a new element to the festivities—storytelling! We are asking community members to come to the event and share your recollections of Gahanna. In particular, we will be commemorating a significant local event in 1908 - the birthday of Harry Bauer. If you'd like to share stories, reminisce, or find out for yourself "Who is that".... please join us for Gahanna 1908 Day!

Discover why Gahanna is named, "Herb Capital of Ohio" at this renowned springtime celebration! The Gahanna Historical Society and the Ohio Herb Education Center present an extravaganza sure to delight with fresh herb plants, renowned presenters, artisans, crafts, demonstrations, tours, children’s activities and delicious food!
